Dr. Aisha is a woman who believes in striving relentlessly to reach the top. She is also a firm believer in the popular maxim, “Education is light.” After obtaining her Grade 11 Teacher’s Certificate between 1987and 1989, was not fully satisfied and decided to further her education.
She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Guidance & Counselling (BA.Ed) and master’s degree (MBA) in Human Resource Management from Lagos State University, Lekki Campus.
She also obtained a BSc in Applied Accounting from Oxford Brookes University United Kingdom, and she also is a qualified chartered accountant under the Association of Certified Chartered Accountants (ACCA).
Dr. Aisha holds a Certificate in Professional Studies in Strategic Leadership from the renowned London Graduate School, followed by a Doctorate in Business
Administration (DBA) from Commonwealth University.
She is currently the North Central Director and Chairperson of the Niger State Chapter of the Nigerian League of Women Voters, as well as an Executive Member of the Military Widows Association of Nigeria. Furthermore, she is the Founder of the Late Maj. Gen. S.M. Lemu Memorial Foundation, which focuses on providing training for widows and orphans, particularly those from the Armed Forces.
Dr. AIisha continues to drive her passion through numerous initiatives, including her role as Secretary for the Nigerian chapter of Women Advancement for Economic and Leadership Empowerment in Africa (WAELE), an NGO with membership in 53 countries, including the United States of America. She also serves as the Grand Matron of the Northern Nigerian Initiatives, an NGO established to help northern women gain the positions they deserve by encouraging them to participate in politics, pursue education, and raise their children with a strong sense of responsibility and the fear of God.
