We were privileged to host Dr. Ali Nuhu Mohammed, Managing Director of the Nigerian Film Corporation, at our offices.
The purpose of the visit was to explore collaboration opportunities between NFD and the Nigeria Film Corporation (NFC) aimed at securing private sector funding for filmmaking.
Additionally, discussions centered around private sector engagement in bolstering the Nigeria Film Corporation’s capabilities through training initiatives, provision of state-of-the-art filmmaking equipment, and NFC’s role in facilitating access to a pool of filmmakers and projects for funding.

The Hon. Minister of Foreign Affairs, H.E. Geoffrey Onyeama hosted New Frontier Developments CEO Hassan Usman at the official launch of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs’ Legacy Projects, on Thursday, 18th May 2023.
The Legacy Projects consists of 3 independent ICT-driven initiatives namely: (i) The Nigerian Global Citizen Help Desk (ii) The Nigerian Global Business Match-Making Portal and (iii) The Diplomatic Service Digitization Initiative, which unified the websites of all Nigerian Missions with that of Headquarters in one secured space.
NGBM (“Nigeria Global Business Match”) is an Online Business Matchmaking Platform created by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, to provide ease of access to foreign trade and investors for verified Nigerian Businesses. It leverages on Nigeria’s Diplomatic presence in over 109 Missions abroad to attract Foreign Direct Investments (FDI) to the country.
New Frontier officially became the first company to launch the platform live at the ceremony, with Mr Hassan Usman sending the first messages from a Nigerian based Company.
The event was attended by the Governor of Edo state, H.E. Godwin Obaseki, the Chairman, Senate Committee on Foreign Relations, Sen. Bulkachuwa Adamu Muhammad, Hon. Minister of Industry, Trade and Investment, Director-General, National Intelligence Agency, Chairman/CEO of Nigerian in Diaspora Commission, Hon. Abike Dabiri-Erewa, among other dignitaries.
New Frontier Developments (NFD) and its partner, M.N. Ataj have once again demonstrated their commitment to corporate social responsibility by commissioning a brand new police station at the Utako Market in Abuja.
The police station, will serve as a vital security infrastructure in the bustling Utako Market, providing much-needed protection to traders and shoppers in the area.
The commissioning ceremony was well attended by government officials, market leaders, and members of the public, who all expressed their gratitude and appreciation.
The Ekiti State Government has officially handed over the, Ire Clay Products Limited, to a private investor in a bid to ensure its continued smooth running, result-oriented management and long-term sustenance.
Governor Kayode Fayemi at the official handover ceremony in Ire Ekiti, maintained that the step was aimed at galvanizing the company for more profitability and continuity of operations.
The governor who was represented by his Deputy Otunba Bisi Egbeyemi, said the handover was a demonstration of government’s resolve to partner with the private sector to ensure sustainable and profitable operations of government business enterprises.
According to the governor, core investor, New Frontier Developments Limited, has acquired 60 per cent stake to run Ire Clay Products Company under an arrangement that would be beneficial to the investor and the state government.
Dr. Fayemi also listed the gains of the handover to include enhancing the company’s capacity to meet the demands of its products, serving as a source of Internally Generated Revenue through taxation and providing more gainful employment for the people of the state.
Earlier in his remark, the Group Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of Fountain Holdings Limited, Mr. Seyi Ayeleso, noted that the Fayemi Administration took the step in order to infuse fresh financial and managerial capabilities into the operations of the factory.
The chairman of New Frontier Developments Limited, Hassan Usman in his speech assured the staff that no one will be laid off rather it will foster a profitable relationship with both the community and state as a whole. He hinted that the company is also looking forward to involve the engineering students from the state’s tertiary institution for training.
